“Mr. Jeff” (Faulkerson) is an experienced Program Manager with over 20 years of accomplishment in the nonprofit sector. He has responsibly led teams in the fulfillment of corporate missions, and has served as a compliance officer with a funding agency, written grant proposals for charitable support, and successfully designed and implemented data management systems for the evaluation of educational and social service programming. Mr. Jeff established ACHIEVEMENT SQUARE Development & Training Centers, Inc. to help economically disadvantaged individuals lead fearless and empowered lives.
Mr. Jeff earned both his Master’s of Science degree in Social Work Management & Community Practice and Bachelor’s of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville, Tennessee). He currently attends George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government (Arlington, Virginia), where he is pursuing a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management & Leadership.
Two (2) LIFE Coaches will initially be hired as volunteers to coordinate activities associated with the Young Achievers Program. Guided by The Principles of LIFE (Living Independently Fearless and Empowered), they will lead group mentoring/tutoring sessions, facilitate workshops related to the Four Pillars of Prosperity (i.e., Nurturing, Learning, Working and Leading), work with the Executive Director to develop workforce development partnerships with local employers, advise Young Achievers during their management of the BOSS Publishing Group and other entrepreneurial ventures, and participate in the planning and coordination of the Spring 2018 Achievement Summit. LIFE coaches will also be relied on to recruit young adults from local colleges/universities and companies to serve as volunteer tutors/mentors during Saturday morning Academic Enrichment sessions.
Selected volunteers in good standing will become paid, part-time ACHIEVEMENT SQUARE Development & Training Centers, Inc. employees once 75% of the required funding has been secured for the Young Achievers Program.
